Ivan Toney and Nathan Collins had a heated exchange of words after Brentford's draw with Aston Villa on Saturday. For the first time since returning from his suspension earlier this season, Toney was left out of the Bees starting XI for the trip to Villa Park as he dealt with a muscle issue. The Bees entered Saturday's clash without a Premier League win in their last eight, and their poor form looked set to continue when Ollie Watkins fired the hosts in front before half-time. January arrival Morgan Rogers then added a second for Unai Emery's Champions League-chasing side after the interval. Brentford fought back though, and in a ten-minute stretch had taken an unlikely lead courtesy of goals from Mathias Jorgensen, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa. Clearly unhappy with the result, Toney could be seen gesticulating towards the Irish defender. The England international also appeared to reference his disappointment with the final scoreline by holding up three fingers on each hand.
